With every program, every project, and every partnership, PVBLIC Foundation worked with a commitment to support a better world for all. 2025 was a year for momentum and community, where our shared vision for media, data, capital, nature and technology advanced through our many activations. PVBLIC at the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl LIX Week was one of this season’s most memorable moments in sport–and for PVBLIC Foundation this year. In New Orleans, PVBLIC supported a series of programs, ranging from media production at the PVBLIC Content Studio to the Bridging Culture & Community - The Family Office Impact Soirée and Painting Bridges Art Auction, and the FOSD Kickoff Soiree. The public-partnership engagements centered on culture, teamwork, and sustainable development. See more images of these iconic activations.


REIN Hubs Officially Launch at Nature Summit 2025

During the Nature Summit 2025, hosted by the Ministry of Environment of Panama, PVBLIC Foundation, and Global Resilience Partners, the international community witnessed the official launch of REIN Hubs, a transformative new platform for nature-based, sovereign-aligned innovation. Since then, REIN Hubs seminars and workshops have taken place throughout the year, uniting vision and action for a sustainable future.


A New Collection | The United Nations Tour Guide Uniforms

On 22 April 2025, the United Nations Headquarters in New York City hosted a landmark event to celebrate the unveiling of a new sustainable uniform collection for United Nations Tour Guides. In a historic first, the United Nations commissioned a higher education institution—the Swedish School of Textiles at the University of Borås— to design and produce the collection. The uniforms, co-created by twenty textile and fashion design students, were showcased through a fashion show and reception, highlighting a commitment to sustainability, functionality, and global cooperation. The initiative was enabled by the United Nations Department of Global Communications and the United Nations Office for Partnerships, in collaboration with Sofia Hedström de Leo, Advisory Board member of the UN Fashion and Lifestyle Network and former Head of Sustainability at the Swedish Consulate in New York. UN Fashion & Lifestyle Network Annual Meeting 2025

On 19 May, global leaders and changemakers gathered in New York at the United Nations Headquarters for the fourth United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network Annual Meeting. Co-convened by the United Nations Office for Partnerships and the Fashion Impact Fund, a program of PVBLIC Foundation, the event brought together numerous stakeholders across fashion, lifestyle, sustainability, and international policy. This year’s meeting marked a pivotal moment for the sector’s alignment with global impact priorities, offering a space to reflect, innovate, and collaborate on transformative strategies.


Advocating for Our Oceans | PVBLIC at the United Nations Ocean Conference

In June, the PVBLIC Foundation team, including Executive Chairman Sergio Fernandez de Cordova, President Stephen Keppel, Executive Director of the Development Bank for Resilient Prosperity Dr. Gene Leon, and Director of Government Affairs Ashaki Goodwin, travelled to the Third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3) in Nice, France. They covered tools for transforming our oceans–from AI for good, to geospatial data, development banks, as well as supporting Small Island Developing States. The PVBLIC team was a proud partner of the SDG Media Zone at UNOC3, which is organized by the UN Department of Global Communications in collaboration with the PVBLIC Foundation.


Fugro and the SDG Data Alliance Form New Partnership for the Caribbean

The SDG Data Alliance, led by Executive Director Dr. Greg Scott, announced a new partnership in July with Fugro, a global leader in geo-data solutions, to strengthen adaptation and resilience against climate shocks in the Caribbean’s Small Island Developing States (SIDS). As many SIDS face unique environmental challenges, more investments and operations are needed to fortify against rising sea levels, storms, and other risks. In this agreement, locally-led solutions will be enhanced by building technical capacities, scaling access to needed geospatial information, and promoting coastal communities’ resilience. 


Reimagining Development Finance at the Sevilla Platform for Action

In Seville, Spain, governments, development banks, multilateral agencies, and civil society convened at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4). With a large focus on the need for transforming the global financial architecture, PVBLIC and the Development Bank for Resilient Prosperity emerged as a leader and architect for the future– prioritizing resilience, nature, and a just transition. THe Nature Bank was recognized as a viable mechanism to channel sustainable liquidity and regenerative economy financing for vulnerable economies, bridging the gap between ambition and architecture. 


PVBLIC at the United Nations General Assembly 


The international community gathered for the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City during September. PVBLIC is honored to have convened, partnered, and led transformative programming throughout the high-level week. From the SDG Media Zone to the Family Offices for Sustainable Development Summit, from health equity to sustainable fashion, PVBLIC continues to design platforms that amplify innovation, elevate collaboration, and accelerate progress on global sustainability. During this time, PVBLIC was proud to forge new partnerships and initiatives with various UN agencies and international representatives from leading institutions. PVBLIC’s Partnerships Day: Unlocking the Infrastructure of the Future


This event highlighted the power of systems-based partnerships to accelerate sustainable development through innovation, capital, and multilateral collaboration. PVBLIC’s Partnerships Day convened leaders across sectors to bridge ambition and execution—aligning ideas, investment, and implementation to advance the systems and infrastructure future generations will inherit. The day concluded with a high-level evening reception with the World Food Programme (WFP), Driving Real Impact on Hunger, Peace and Global Security, featuring the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between PVBLIC and WFP to strengthen global food systems. Together, these convenings underscored the power of cross-sector collaboration in addressing urgent global challenges. See more images from this memorable day.


Amplifying voices at the SDG Media Zone


The SDG Media Zone hosted a week of conversations on the transformation and solutions needed to accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals. Each session highlighted the pressing global challenges and opportunities, with discussions ranging from peace and security to gender equality, press freedom, climate action, global health, and more. Organized by the UN Department of Global Communications in collaboration with the PVBLIC Foundation, the SDG Media Zone takes the conversation on advancing the 2030 Agenda out of the policy sphere and into the public discourse through impactful in-depth interviews and conversations on global issues that matter to people everywhere.


Spotlight on Small Island Developing States 


Small Island Developing States (SIDS) face unique risks and vulnerabilities, yet continue to be on the frontlines as leaders demonstrating how data and technology are central to securing long-term prosperity. The SDG Data Alliance hosted a high-level reception on SIDS Solutions for Resilient Prosperity at the United Nations Headquarters this September. Heads of State, including H.E. Surangel Whipps Jr., President of Palau and Chair of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS), and H.E. Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, joined together with global leaders and institutional partners. Dr. Greg Scott, Executive Director of the SDG Data Alliance, and Jack Dangermond, President of Esri, highlighted the critical role of geospatial data in driving resilience planning and informed decision-making.


Advancing Space for Sustainable Development

In October, PVBLIC Foundation, together with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), the Republic of Austria, and the United Kingdom, co-hosted a high-level reception at the United Nations Headquarters in New York to mark the formalization of a landmark partnership between PVBLIC and UNOOSA. The collaboration was recognized at the Assembly’s Fourth Committee session on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. The evening also celebrated the designation of Professor Brian Cox as United Nations Champion for Space, recognizing his advocacy for peaceful and sustainable space, public awareness, and support for UNOOSA’s mandate.


Acting for People and Planet at COP30

The 30th United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP30), convened in Belém, Brazil, from 10-21 November. Leaders from more than 190 countries participated in this conference to advance the goals of the Paris Agreement and highlight the Amazon’s vital role in global sustainability. Representing PVBLIC Foundation, President Stephen Keppel participated in a series of meetings and high-level panels that underscored the organization’s commitment to advancing inclusive, collaborative, and measurable pathways toward resilience.


The Launch of FOSD Nordic to Mobilize Capital for Global Impact

PVBLIC Foundation and Rosetree Financial Services launched the Family Offices for Sustainable Development (FOSD) Nordic hub in early September. The Founder and CEO of Rosetree, Michael Bühlmann, and the Global Affairs Director of State of Green, Iver Høj Nielsen, gathered senior Danish government officials, influential family office principals, philanthropic leaders, and impact investors for an evening of dialogue on how the Nordic region can help shape the future of sustainable development. By anchoring the Nordic hub in Denmark, PVBLIC and Rosetree are tapping into a region with a strong tradition of sustainability leadership, policy innovation, and global cooperation.


Antigua Fully Backs “Nature Bank” Proposal to Monetize Forest and Ocean Assets

A moment of solidarity and support for the Nature Bank in November. Antigua and Barbuda displayed its full political backing to the proposed Development Bank for Resilient Prosperity (known as the “Nature Bank”) an initiative designed to unlock the financial value of the region’s forests, coastal ecosystems and ocean assets while protecting them for future generations. H.E. Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, has emerged as one of the strongest advocates of the idea, following detailed discussions with Dr. Gene Leon, Executive Director of the Nature Bank.
