COP30 stands for the 30th United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change. Every year, this global meeting is held to discuss, advocate, and act for one of the world’s most pressing challenges: climate change. World leaders, ministers, UN representatives, scientists, non-governmental organizations, civil society, and other environmental advocates meet to bring their expertise and find solutions to this urgent crisis–from financing and adaptation, to building resilience.

In this annual conference, a different country hosts and provides this quintessential space for multilateralism. This year, COP30 will take place in Belém, Pará, Brazil from 10-21 November 2025, with a spotlight showing the importance of the Amazon. Delegates from over 190 countries are expected to attend the climate conference.
