What is REIN
Resilience, Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Nature - REIN.
What began as a U.S. Department of State pilot to expand the pipeline of clean technology and green startups in a few target locations has evolved into REIN, a permanent, multilateral platform managed by PVBLIC Foundation in partnership with CleantechHUB, expanding the model into new countries and regions.
REIN currently operates five fully active hubs in Colombia, Perú, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and El Salvador, turning environmental challenges into investment-ready business opportunities for entrepreneurs across the bio-economy, renewable energy, circular economy, AI, data, and agriculture.
REIN’s goal is to build a resilient future through a connected network of environmental innovation and entrepreneurship hubs around the world.

Colombia is the founding hub of the REIN network, hosting the largest cohorts across three cities. Anchored at Universidad Externado de Colombia, the hub has built a full pipeline from early ideation to acceleration.
