The United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network (unfashionlifestyle.org), an initiative hosted by the United Nations Office for Partnerships, the Fashion Impact Fund - a program of PVBLIC Foundation, and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, serves as a collaborative platform connecting stakeholders across the fashion and lifestyle sectors.

This session highlighted changemakers from around the world who are reimagining fashion and lifestyle through circular design, storytelling, and ethical entrepreneurship, showcasing how innovation, community, and purpose can align the industry with sustainability and the global agenda.

Driving Real Impact on Hunger, Peace and Global Security

This high-level convening spotlights how next-generation partnerships, anchored in private sector capital, data infrastructure, and frontier technologies, can transform global food systems. As the world faces growing food insecurity, the conversation will explore how institutions like the World Food Programme and platforms like PVBLIC Foundation are working together to shift the paradigm from emergency relief to long-term resilience.

PVBLIC Foundation Executive Board members gathered in New York. This weekend, PVBLIC Foundation board members reflected on our progress in the year to date, explored new programs and partnerships, and reviewed the exciting plans ahead.

SDG Media Zone goes live

The SDG Media Zone commences a week of conversations on the transformation and solutions needed to accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals. Each session will spotlight pressing global challenges and opportunities, with discussions ranging from peace and security to gender equality, press freedom, climate action, global health, and more.

Organized by the UN Department of Global Communications in collaboration with the PVBLIC Foundation, the SDG Media Zone takes the conversation on advancing the 2030 Agenda out of the policy sphere and into the public discourse through impactful in-depth interviews and conversations on global issues that matter to people everywhere.

United Nations Day of Peace

PVBLIC Executive Chairman Sergio Fernandez de Cordova and The Nature Bank Executive Director Dr. Gene Leon joined the 2025 Day of Peace First Ladies Forum, which highlights the vital role of women’s leadership in advancing peace, gender equality, and sustainable development. This gathering united global leaders under the theme “Act Now for a Peaceful World” to drive concrete actions for peace through dialogue, strategy, and collective commitment.

Fashion's Role in a Global Circular Economy

Kerry Bannigan, Co-Founder, UN Fashion and Lifestyle Network, President of the Board, PVBLIC Foundation delivered welcome remarks at the Fashion's Role in a Global Circular Economy session at the SDG Media Zone.

This session shined a light on how fashion leaders are reshaping the industry through circular models such as resale, responsible consumption and community engagement. By highlighting innovative business models, policy advocacy and consumer empowerment, the conversation explored how resale platforms can reduce environmental impact, extend product life cycles and shift industry norms.

PVBLIC Foundation President Stephen Keppel joins roundtable with Nasdaq

“We have a mantra with our partners: educate, engage, activate. We need to educate both sides (private and public) on how they work. Sometimes it involves translation. And then we need to engage: let's do some pilot projects and let's test things out. And then, we need to activate globally to make sure we're solving the big problems.”

This was the message that PVBLIC Foundation President Stephen Keppel shared at the Nasdaq Headquarters while discussing sustainable and scalable infrastructure and climate investing solutions.
