On January 31st, PVBLIC Foundation participated in the first annual AI, Health, Tech, & Finance Summit hosted by Ideagen & The Living Fuel in Miami. The summit brought together an impressive array of leaders, visionaries, and thought leaders committed to driving innovation and sustainability across diverse sectors.

The Summit, a collaborative effort to forge sustainable solutions and pioneer advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Health, Technology, and Finance, showcased a lineup of Global Leaders and Luminaries. The event featured remarks, panels and firesides, all aimed at fostering collaboration and networking toward achieving ambitious targets for 2030.

Thrilled to be a part of this inaugural Summit, PVBLIC Foundation’s Executive Chairman, Sergio Fernandez de Cordova, actively contributed to the Ideagen Leadership panel. Joining him were notable figures like George Sifakis, Founder & CEO of Ideagen Global, Sheri Hashemi, Director of Engineering at Communications Systems, L3Harris, and Tim Ananiadis, Hospitality Consultant and Board Chair at ACS Athens, Chetana Movva, HOSA International Postsecondary and Collegiate Vice President, and Sricharan Pusala, UChicago Medicine Heme/Onc Clinical and Research Coordinator.

During this panel, Sergio Fernández de Córdova, discussed the importance of strategic collaborations and partnerships to accomplish the Sustainable Development Goals, as he also highlighted the crucial role of investing capital for impact, especially in support of the Sustainable Development Goals and Public-Private Partnerships. Likewise, PVBLIC’s Foundation Executive Chairman brought into light the mission of the SDG Data Alliance as a powerful tool to accomplish social equality through geospatial data and technology. “The SDG Data Alliance helps governments and civic leaders understand the power of data and how it can be used to change or draft new policies to create a better tomorrow” said Sergio.

The SDG Data Alliance was launched at the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in July 2021, but several years before its launch, the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) in conjunction with PVBLIC Foundation, Esri, and the governments of six pilot countries laid the foundation for the project. Its mission is to build the capacity of governments and other key stakeholders to achieve the SDGs through the creation of effective systems and frameworks for monitoring progress on sustainable development using leading geospatial technology.

PVBLIC Foundation's participation in the AI, Health, Tech, & Finance Summit underscored its commitment to driving sustainable solutions and innovation. The sessions facilitated collaboration and networking among industry leaders, steering them towards achieving the ambitious targets set for 2030.
