THE SDG MEDIA SUMMIT RETURNS SEPTEMBER 9th TO THE UN HEADQUARTERS

ABOUT

Created by PVBLIC Foundation and co-convened by the United Nations Office for Partnerships since 2014 the SDG Media Summit is a high-level gathering that showcases the global leaders across industries who are driving social change to advance the Sustainable Development Goals.

The SDG Media Summit showcases innovative initiatives and campaigns through keynotes, interviews and case studies to provide a unique opportunity for attendees to engage and learn from the brightest minds in impact.

The summit unites business leaders, United Nations representatives and media experts, to highlight the power of media to address pressing global issues.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Since 2015 PVBLIC has convened 6 Summits that have gathered more than 500 participants from a wide range of United Nations agencies, leading media companies, entertainment figures, broadcast news, public relations, advertising, and consumer products.

In 2021, the SDG Summit brought the impact community back together after a difficult time with the goal of engaging on the most pressing sustainability issues, activating around solutions and celebrating projects and partnerships that were having an impact.

It live streamed on November 5th through the PVBLIC Youtube channel. The virtual event had over 3,000 live streams and now has over 10,000 views and more than 70k impressions.
