ACCELERATING IMPACT TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

The Ibero-american Impact Summit builds on the legacy of the Latino Impact Summit and is the only event in Spanish that will take place at the United Nations during the week of the UN General Assembly. The Cumbre de Impacto Iberoamericano 2023 will celebrate the Iberoamerican region’s strategic collaboration for global sustainability, while also highlighting key areas of action and collaboration in order to accelerate progress, mobilize media, data, and technology to achieve the SDGs throughout the regions.
The 2023 summit will bring together leaders of the highest level, including Heads of State, ministers, C-Suite executives, changemakers, and NGOs, among others, to celebrate and promote strategic collaboration across the Ibero-american region for the benefit of sustainable development.

ACADEMIC AGENDA
Each year the Summit selects a topic that is relevant to the region as the focus of its academic agenda and in which, through panels, conferences and dialogues, it seeks to propose solutions to the different challenges of today. By 2023, celebrating the event within the framework of the United Nations General Assembly, the theme is aligned with the general objective, presenting:

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
LUNCH: A luncheon will be held during the Summit in the United Nations Delegates Dining Room. A networking space with attendees, panelists and allies.
CLOSING COCKTAIL: At the end of the event, a closing cocktail will be held in the UN Delegates' Lounge, with the participation of 150 leaders from the region, representing the public sector, private sector, academia and allied organizations working in collaboration to achieve the SDGs, promoting social impact and climate action.
PREVIOUS EDITIONS
Since its inception in 2016, this event has been a true driver of sustainable progress in the region. Formerly known as the Latino Impact Summit, this summit has brought together leaders and key players from the public, private and non-profit sectors, working together towards the sustainable development agenda.
