The PVBLIC Foundation and SAP have joined forces to produce the SDG Media Zone at the upcoming Cannes Lions Festival for 2019. On June 17th – 20th, the SDG Media Zone will highlight key innovations, partnerships and discussions as a call to action for all who attend to engage and participate in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The SDG Media Zone: Cannes Lions, supported by blockchain platform provider NASGO, will take place at the Global Goals house--a focal point for strategic-thinking conversations and initiatives to accelerate humanitarian solutions and share news about outcomes in the common mission to address the Sustainable Development Goals.
Founded in 2019, the house’s purpose is to encourage high-level, purpose-led engagement to enable participants to meet the United Nations 2030 targets. During each day of Cannes Lions the Goal House will host dynamic leaders in high-level conversations to plan and expedite the way ahead for the world’s humanitarian agendas. The program will include breakfasts, lunches, dinners and evening events.
The SDG Media Zone will share inspiring stories, case studies and business models via curated speakers who will highlight and report on the initiatives and innovative approaches the creative global community is working on toward achievement of each of the 2030 goals.
Companies joining the SDG Media Zone roster include Twitter, Edelman, Vox Media, WarnerMedia, Turner, Financial Times, Rebecca Minkoff, Global Citizen, Dentsu Aegis Network and more.
