The PVBLIC Foundation and SAP have joined forces to produce the SDG Media Zone at the upcoming South by Southwest Festival (SXSW). The SDG Media Zone, taking place on March 8th – 11th, aims to amplify the voices of creative professionals and celebrate the convergence of the interactive, film, and music industries work towards positive change.
The SDG Media Zone will take place at SAP House at Trinity and Second as part of a variety of activations that engage, inspire, and improve people’s lives. SXSW attendees are encouraged to visit the SAP House to learn how to make moments that matter – whether it’s delighting empowered customers, engaging an increasingly mobile and diverse workforce, being a sustainable developer and creator, or lifting up societies and becoming a connected citizen.
The SDG Media Zone: SXSW will welcome an audience of editors, bloggers, content creators and influencers to communicate innovations, partnerships and discussions as a call to action for humanity to engage the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Inspiring stories, case studies and business models will be shared via daily curated panels seeking to highlight the change-making initiatives and innovative approaches that the global community are working on to achieve the 2030 Agenda.
Opening on International Women’s Day and continuing on to focus on Communication, Conscious Fashion, Youth and Health the SDG Media Zone speakers include Mark Mitchell - American Airlines, Johanna Skilling - Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide, Corley Kenna - Patagonia, Amina Razvi - Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), Tea Uglow – Google Creative Lab, Ann Rosenberg - SAP Next-Gen, Lance Gould - Earth’s Call, Natalie Burn - Unilever and more.
