PVBLIC Foundation is a proud partner of the 4 A's ReSolve

- a competition with purpose at their Transformation Summit.

 

DEVELOP AN IDEA, PROGRAM, INVENTION OR CAMPAIGN TO SAVE THE OCEANS, SEAS AND MARINE LIFE.
 

This year's ReSolve will target Sustainable Development Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources. The world’s oceans – their temperature, chemistry, currents and life – drive global systems that make the Earth habitable for humankind.

 

"We were looking for the real-world problem that were going to try to tackle this year and we thought that given the work of PVBLIC in the social impact space they would be a perfect partner for this year’s resolve, in which we will try to tackle the Sustainable Development Goal #14: Life below water." stated Alison Fahey, CMO of the 4A's

Our rainwater, drinking water, weather, climate, coastlines, much of our food, and even the oxygen in the air we breathe, are all ultimately provided and regulated by the sea. Throughout history, oceans and seas have been vital conduits for trade and transportation.

 

Careful management of this essential global resource is a key feature of a sustainable future. 

 

All teams at ReSolve will present their ideas on how to help save the Ocean life in front of a distinguished panel of judges and industry leaders on the Transformation main stage on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017.
