SDG Media Zone at the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly

September 13, 2016

Our SDG Media Zone will be welcoming media influencers, journalists, bloggers, celebrities, and  high-level delegates to join the conversation, generate discussion and engage the global online community during the United Nations General Assembly High-Level week, supporting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Every hour high-level conversations will be hosted on the SDG Media Zone stage where Heads of States, UN leaders, CEOs, celebrities, young people and high level guests will engage in interactive 30-minute dialogues followed by a Q&A.

The SDG Media Zone is powered by a partnership between the Office of the President of the General Assembly, United Nations Department of Public Information, United Nations Foundation and the PVBLIC Foundation.

Kerry Bannigan, SDG Media Zone Executive Producer and PVBLIC Board member, commented, “The SDG Media Zone is a hub welcoming content creators and influencers to communicate to their network the innovations, partnerships and discussions surrounding the Sustainable Development Goals. We aim to unite and amplify the work of the global community to tackle challenges and accelerate the progress towards the 2030 agenda.”
