We are excited to introduce our series of convenings for the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), taking place at the UN Headquarters in New York City from September 20-27. These gatherings will provide fresh perspectives, meaningful interactions, and ample networking opportunities to advance the Sustainable Development Goals at #UNGA2024.

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the UN. Comprising all 193 Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. In 2024, the General Assembly and the UN Summit of the Future will focus on climate change, poverty and inequality, while also tackling the impacts of ongoing conflicts and global health crises.
PVBLIC Foundation will be organizing and promoting a series of convenings taking place at the United Nations Headquarters from September 20 until September 27, 2024. These events aim to drive meaningful change, through impact driven discussions and networking opportunities that emphasize collaboration and innovative approaches to advancing progress.

SHAPING THE FUTURE THROUGH ACTION AND PARTNERSHIPS: BUILDING A RESILIENT AND EQUITABLE WORLD
September 21, 2024:
This convening will highlight and celebrate PVBLIC Foundation’s partners and programs inside the SDG Media Zone. The event is a small showcase of PVBLIC’s work around the world as we highlight a few of our global platforms and partners including the Development Bank for Resilient Prosperity, the SDG Data Alliance, the SIDS Center of Excellence, and much more.

Returning to UNGA for its 9th year, the SDG Media Zone, which is organized by the UN Department of Global Communications with PVBLIC Foundation, will amplify discussions centered around the 2030 Agenda, taking them to a global audience via UN Web TV and international media partners. Each day will focus on different themes and goals, check back for more information as we get closer to the launch.

For the second consecutive year the Family Offices for Sustainable Development (FOSD) Summit and Reception will unite global leaders and prominent Family Offices at the United Nations to highlight the power of public-private partnerships and data-driven strategies in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
HEALTH EQUITY FORUM
September 26, 2024
Also, in its second year, the Health Equity Forum will bring an action-oriented platform to the UN that will convene healthcare leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to inspire, build, and launch initiatives addressing global Health Equity challenges.
CUMBRE DE IMPACTO IBEROAMERICANO
September 27, 2024
The Cumbre de Impacto Iberoamericano (Iberoamerican Impact Summit) will close out #UNGA2024 by celebrating strategic collaboration for global sustainability, emphasizing key action areas and partnerships to advance the SDGs across Spain, Portugal, and the Americas. The summit will be followed by a reception that will facilitate networking and partnerships among leaders in the region.
